Canon Goddy Muhanguzi Muhumuza was appointed Executive Director of EACREEE in May 2024 after serving as the Interim Executive Director of the EACREEE since 1st October 2021.

Collins Owuor is an Energy and climate change professional with over 9 years of experience supporting energy access and climate resilience work across Africa. Before joining EACREEE, Collins's main preoccupation was contributing to the development and deployment of innovative models for clean energy access within underserved markets.

Eng. Denis Ariho
Eng. Denis Ariho joined EACREEE on 1st April 2020 as the Lead Technical Expert for the EAC region on Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances (EELA) Project, seconded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). His main role is to coordinate EELA activities in the EAC region.

Eng. Godfrey Marambe
Godfrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc. Degree in Energy Management from the University of Nairobi and is a graduate of the Global Executive Master of Business Administration from USIU-Africa in collaboration with Solbridge International University, South Korea.

Mariam Nyende
Mariam Nyende joined EACREEE in June 2017, before joining the Centre, she worked as a Teacher. Her responsibilities at EACREEE include Administrative support to the team. Mariam holds a Diploma in ECD and pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Project Planning and Grant management

Mr. Yunus Alokore
Yunus Alokore, joined EACREEE in January 2024 as a Technical Expert seconded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). His main role is steer fund raising and organisation development endeavours of the Centre. Yunus holds a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in Biosystems Engineering and he is an MBA finalist.

Racheal Kadondi is a Communication and Knowledge Management Intern at EACREEE coordinating the communication, Knowledge and advocacy activities of the Centre and its Partner States. She is a communication and Public Relations professional with a career spanning 5 years in the climate change sectors.

Robinah Auma
Robinah is the Project Assistant for the Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances Project. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Makerere University. She started her career as a Finance Officer at Alliance Forum for Development(AFOD). Before joining EACREEE, Robinah worked as the Finance and Administration Officer for Pathfinder International on the USAID Family Planning Activity Project.

Talib PB Latio
Talib is the Energy Efficiency Intern. He holds an MS in Energy Engineering from Pan African University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Mekelle University of Ethiopia. He started his career as an Intern at Mesfin Industrial Engineering Company Limited in Ethiopia. Before joining EACREEE, Talib worked for Yabus, Inc. as a Procurement Engineer, BlueStar Engineering Company Limited as an Engineer and Aptech Africa.
