Technical Guidelines (TGs) for Small Hydropower Development

Small Hydropower (SHP) is increasingly seen as an important renewable energy solution to adequately answer the challenge of remote rural areas electrification. However, while most countries in Europe, North and South America, as well as China have high degrees of installed capacity, the potential of SHP in many developing countries remains untapped and is often hindered by the lack of good practices as well as SHP development standards on a global level.

Sustainable Energy Forum for East Africa (SEF-EA 2018) Final Report

The Sustainable Energy Forum for East Africa was held at Serena Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda on 19–21 March 2018 and attended by high level policy/decision makers and experts in the energy sector from national governments, international organizations, development partners, financing partners and the private sector actors. It provided a high level platform to forge effective partnerships for achieving Sustainable Development Goal- 7 targets in the EAC region by 2030.
