Eng. Denis Ariho

Eng. Denis Ariho, from Uganda, joined EACREEE on 1^st April 2020 as the Lead Technical Expert for the EAC region on Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances (EELA) Project, seconded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). His main role is to coordinate EELA activities in the EAC region.

Prior to joining EACREEE, he worked as Technical Advisor for GIZ Promotion of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Programme (PREEEP) in Kampala, Uganda. One of the key outputs of the EELA Project is the development of regionally harmonized Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for lighting and appliances for both Southern African Development Community (SADC) and East African Community (EAC).
