A Regional Harmonization Workshop has been conducted in Nairobi, Kenya to consolidate the feedback received from the EAC Partner States;  the Republic of Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Rwanda, the Republic of South Sudan and the Republic of Uganda on the draft EAC Energy Efficiency Policy and Compliance framework.


On the 23rd of May, EACREEE held a Board of Directors meeting in Nairobi, Kenya which Members from various partner States in the East African region attended. The meeting was intended to review the Institutionalisation of the Centre at the EAC and the inauguration of the Interim Executive Director as the Substantive Executive Director.


STAR C project will support East African Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy and Efficiency (EACREEE) to deliver two virtual sessions termed Capacity Building Workshop on Harmonisation of Curriula and Training for solar PV for EAC Region. The objective of the Workshop is to enable EACREEE set up a dialogue and structure for common Accreditation and quality assurance of Solar PV and solar thermal training curriculums at Higher Education level through collaborations with the Inter-University Council of East Africa(IUCEA).
