AHIMBISIBWE Michael

Mr. Michael Ahimbisibwe, from Uganda, took charge as the Executive director of EACREEE as of Monday September 18, 2017. A senior officer from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, Mr. Ahimbisibwe brings in rich experience in promoting sustainable energy in Uganda and East Africa. Prior to becoming director, he was a Principal Energy Officer in the Renewable Energy Department, Government of Uganda. Mr. Ahimbisibwe was the national focal point officer for national and regional policy matters.

ISHUGAH Fred, MEIK, MIET, C.E.M.

Mr. Fred Ishugah (Kenya) joined EACREEE on November 1, 2017 as a Sustainable Energy Expert. Prior to joining EACREEE, Mr Ishugah was working as a lecturer at department of Energy Engineering at Kenyatta University.

KIZA Michael

Mr. Michael Kiza, from Uganda, joined EACREEE in January 2017 as the Programme Management Expert, seconded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Prior to joining EACREEE, Mr Kiza worked as a Programme Management Officer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Department of Technical Cooperation from January 2010 to December 2016.

OKURE Mackay

Eng. Dr. Mackay OKURE is the Capacity Building and Research and Development Expert at EACREEE and an Associate Professor at the Makerere University College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), Department of Mechanical Engineering. He has been instrumental in the establishment of EACREEE. Following the designation of CEDAT as the Centre of Excellence for EACREEE, he was assigned the role of the Coordinator (caretaker) before the arrival of the other team members.
